How your agent helps

Plans that fit your budget and your doctors.

Savings check first

Before comparing anything, your agent estimates the premium tax credit your household qualifies for on a Marketplace plan, so you see real monthly costs.

Every metal level

Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum plans side by side, including what each one means for your deductible and copays.

Doctors and prescriptions

Your agent checks that the doctors and medications you rely on are covered before you pick a plan.

Help all year

Income changes, a new baby, a move: your agent updates your plan and handles renewal every fall.

Questions

Common questions

Does using an agent cost more?

No. Marketplace premiums are the same whether you enroll on your own or through an agent. Agents are paid by the insurance company.

Can I get help if my income changes during the year?

Yes. Report changes through your agent so your tax credit stays accurate and you avoid a surprise at tax time.

What if I missed Open Enrollment?

You may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period after a life event. Your agent can check, and can also look at other options outside the Marketplace.
